Job Description:

Looking for an experience DMV/Contract Clerk to join our growing team.

Primary responsibilities are:

  • Process New or Used DMV
  • Post New or Used vehicle sales
  • Organize paperwork in each deal; Check for Completeness, Compliance (signatures, vin verify, CA state requirements, etc)
  • Send Contracts to the corresponding Financial Institutions
  • Balance office postings with Sales and Finance figures
  • Assist the Business Office and Finance Director when needed
  • Communicate directly with buyers and sellers to correct mistake or errors in their paperwork
  • Verify Contract funding
  • Prepare and Reconcile Sales and Finance Pay Worksheets
  • Reconcile and submit Gap Contracts 
  • Process Finance cancellations
  • Carefully tracking the progress of each deal in spreadsheets and notes within our software
  • Reconcile your assigned Schedules, weekly
  • Assist with Administrative Functions (filing, Data Entry, etc)
  • Other Duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritize and work under limited supervision following standardized practices
  • Ability to perform several task concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be proactive, analytical and possess exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time and possess strong problem solving skills
  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel and Outlook
  • Must be highly organized and experienced in handling high volume dealership environment
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must work well with others
  • Must have minimum 3 years experience with Automotive acc
